The builtin plastic screen protector is covered on the inside of the screen protector with a blue film easily removed by pulling up on the tab found on the inside corner

I have always kept a case on my phone kindle tablet or ipad through the years so i am pretty well versed on how to open these cases how to remove protective plastic sheets how to attach screen protectors and whatnot

It is slipproof for him to hold and comes with a builtin screen protector to protect it in case he accidentally spills his coffee toward it
