Fits inside shoe can be worn under sock provides good hiking support for an ankle that was broken a few years ago yet doesnt constrict circulation at the top of the sleeve

I thought it was pricey compared to alternatives at first but having tried it and a cheaper alternate the bauerfiend ankle sleeve wins by a mile
