Pros & Cons
Pros
Thumb stabilizerr stabilizes your thumb really well. Comfortable as well. Not bulky as most can be. Sizing runs a little larger.
Purchased for skier’s thumb. Doesn't get sweaty like the other braces which are made of neoprene. In an amazon of a thousand cheap braces, this really is a shockingly good brace.
This brace is a game changer. I can't afford to keep replacing this brace. It is a life saver.
Cons
After wearing it every day for about 2 weeks, the velcro lost it's stickiness and started falling off constantly, so it's pretty much useless to me now. For the price very cheaply made.
Highlights
Quality
Fits well, seems durable, and has helped immensely.
Provides stability, support, protection, reduced my pain and fear of bumping my injury.
Let's put it this way: the weakness and pain in the joint is currently causing significant degradation in my playing.
I wish it were a bit sturdier holding the thumb from rolling in toward the palm.
Price
I found this one was by far the most comfortable and supportive, it is with the premium price to me.
First one paid for at physical therapy 2 years ago which cost approximately 3 times as much.
Was skeptical because of the higher price but 100% worthwhile over the course of 2 months.
Very expensive and doesn't completely immobilize thumb.
Competitiveness
I was using a cheap brand which was working okay, i decided i'd give some others a try that were more compact.
Have not played sports while wearing this, but generally speaking it would be possible when compared to other braces.

Its also very minimally extended down the wrist so i can wear my watch still which is great because i use it to pay everywhere now since i actually damaged both thumbs and have a hard time getting anything out of my pockets

It took some getting used to but i think the problems were mostly in my head not actual physical dexterity
