The plastic is brittle. The broken ones are still usable if you can get a couple of zip ties around them to keep them closed. Lights are nice and bright but these ferrite ring cores did absolutely nothing to help my interference problem.

The longer the wires are make sure you snap these beads tightly as they attenuate choke any radiated signal
