Quality
Although it took some finagling, i was able to get this to work with the smh5 headset, and it works very well.
A hair longer then the one i was replacing but just fit the case and worked fine so i'm pleased.
Now that it's done, the headsets last way longer than they did with the original!
With the old battery i would have had to recharge after a couple of rides.
Packaging/appearance
Luckily, this is not much of a problem either, because you have to take the wires out of the new plug anyway to reverse them.

I did have to switch the pins in the plug for proper polarity still made for a 30 second fix

Had to switch the polarity of the connector this requires a very small pin to lift the plastic piece holding each wire in place then pulling the wires out and swapping them

Unfortunately the polarity was reversed on the plug so i had to cut and resolder after reversing the wires
