The weight can be adjusted. Makes it so much easier for a beginner to practice without having too much struggle pulling the bow back. Compound mechanism just makes it easier to aim without hurting your muscles. Comes with a quiver and arrow holder.

I makes those claims on the packaging, but then the manual tells the truth. Firstly 2-3 is not the 5. This is misleading - buy a better bow for 8+ year olds, this is better suited for 6 or 7 year olds.

This item is however the brave bow. She gets frustrated with this bow. Bear could come up with a better starter kit for about the same amount of money.

The string seems like it has stretched already and feels like just a simple cable wrapped in a coating. The cams aren't even really cams anymore and the let off is super jerky which makes drawing the string unfun.
