Would these work in conjunction with the hook and slide/foot/headboard/footboard, to stop the wobbling from the older hook in assembly.

I use 2x6 or 2x8 wood for most of my beds, so i use a #8 1 1/4 wood screw (spax brand) to install the brackets.
