I havent had a chance to study their efficacy in attracting wasps or hornets yet since i only had them for a short time and i think finding one dead hornet in the upper room might have caused me to panic

When these arrived i used the recipe in the instruction booklet to make the liquid into the bottom of the traps and hang them up and inside both of them wasps were inside within the first day
