I had moved it away from the feeder by 8 and it still catches the bees

Its as described but its generally flimsy and the stainless steel is probably no thicker than aluminum foil

When these arrived i used the recipe in the instruction booklet to make the liquid into the bottom of the traps and hang them up and inside both of them wasps were inside within the first day
