It's annoyingly whiney. It gets hot to the touch and kicks a lot of heat out the back to the cables. Plastic case prevents any usb-c cable or device from being inserted correctly.

The unit was well packed, quick and easy to setup and so far looks to be doing everything it should.

The usb contained an image of linux mint cinnamon, which once booted displayed a desktop with an icon "install mint cinammon".

The packaging was great, packaged much like an apple product and came packaged with all the cables and power we need to get started.

Competitiveness

It has a better specification than most low-end laptops, comes with windows 11 pro, is quiet, uses minimal power, and is reasonably priced.

The ram and ssd are non branded ones with azw sticker on it.

I compared performance to my slightly older i5 intel nuc as it is on a par with that.

Chose this one as it stated windows 11 pro was included in the description whearas the other big brand didn't seem to specifically say.
