Pros & Cons
Pros
It is worth paying a slight premium over some of the lower-end mini-pc units because this has a real windows 11 pro license. The graphics are decent for office apps (it has intel uhd 24 execution units and all kinds of hardware decoding for av1, vp9 h... Read More
Single usb-c is full feature with video for the 3rd display. Gbps ethernet ports for setting it up as a router. Works fine on a gigabit lan if you have not upgraded to 2. Gb intel ethernet+ hdmi. Pair this with a 10-12 inch touch screen monitor and yo... Read More
Free to download and install, and beats the snot out of any consumer wireless router. Days of the all in one wireless router are almost at an end, with people transitioning to a base station + access point model. Wifi 6e card for $20 on amazon.
This little machine runs fantastic. Absolutely amazing for the money. Highly pleased with it. Would recommend to others.
There is only one sodimm ram slot, but it runs 16gb with no issues. The bios is fully open although not intuitive. Supports iommu io-srv and vt-d.

The moment you need to burn-in subtitles one a single stream (required for all ota closed captioning), the poor n100 starts screaming.

I was hesitant to try this product because it seemed so inexpensive.
Packaging/appearance
Recieved the package wiped the ssd, and installed opnsense.
The box is definitely overkill for pfsense, but so was the mac mini.

Competitiveness
With the raspberry pi4 shortages, this mini-pc is a great alternative and is a substantially faster.
I swapped the ax210 for the ax101 and wifi is working flawlessly with debian linux.
The n100 has to be the most underrated "cheap" cpu of this generation.
5 gig ethernet with an n100 processor would have cost twice as much from other chinese hardware vendors.

I bought this to connect between my tmobile gateway and my network and this thing is a silent beast running opnsense

Its absolutely overkill seeing as opnsense runs on freebsd so even with all my network traffic being filtered though adblockers and this thing running about 40 different plugins the cpu hovers around 3 utilization and i think its using around 4gb of the available 16gb ram and only using 5ishgb of the 500gb ssd
