In doing so i broke the cardinal linux rule by running cutting edge hardware which the ryzen 7 7840hs processor is as of this writing and the kernel isnt ready for it quite yet especially for gaming

First i ran mint which wasnt right for it

Anyway the bottom line is this you can run linux on this thing and get good gaming performance just be picky about your distro and especially your kernel at least for now
