Pros

This thing is solid asf! It is fast, reliable, an excellent small business computer. Great for normal daily work/school use and for streaming audio/video. But for the price, it's a tradeoff i'm more than willing to take.

One of the best features is wake on lan. Even with a power off status, it starts with wake on lan magic packet. For a htpc or an inexpensive home server device running docker containers or something, it so far seems like a home run.

Performance is terrific compared to some other popular sbc options. Total annihilation runs fine and the demo from shadow of the tomb raider (2018? It’s fairly fast and fl studio (my daw of choice) runs extremely smooth. Performance is paramount.


Cons

This unit (n100) has no business running the latest version of windows 11. Now it is dead. Reset everything that could be reset.

It turns out my reservations were unfounded as both the quality and performance exceeded my expectations.

I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now, this thing is solid asf!

Time will tell if this is a durable device (as i said, i've had it running less than 24 hours at this point).

The integrated graphics don't support hdr, which is a shame but not unexpected with an n100.

Price

Overall, i find this package amazing for the price.

For only $150, this mini pc comes with windows 11 and it meets all my need to watch movie, surf online, store personal document.

2 modules cost around $90 to $100 whether they are sata or nvme.

The confusing number of inexpensive mini pcs leaves the beelink mini s12 pro buried under the others.

Competitiveness

Performance is terrific compared to some other popular sbc options.

Compare this to a similar beelink model eq12 that has ddr5 ram for a bit more money.

It is not possible to do that with the somewhat more expensive ddr5 and nvme minis that use the n100.

Intel's uhd graphics is good, but not great compared to what amd offers.
