Pros

This thing performs flawlessly. The performance with 3d mapping software output at 4k is flawless. Open photoshop and illustrator applications (installed not cloud) in a flash. Buttery smooth streaming video and multi-tasks well too.

Lo pequeño pero potente. It work well. Beelink knows how to make nuc's.

Bought this for my gf in july 2023. Bought it for my wife's new pc in her office as the director of a preschool. These are fantastic small form factor pcs for just about any use. For perspective the shelves are 11.

For the price, there likely isn't anything out there that is remotely comparable. Couldn't ask for a better system for the price. Incredible deal for a machine w/ 32gb of ram.


Cons

Within 36 hours the pc has developed a ticking sounds it sounds like a faulty fan. Pluggng something into 1 of them crashes computor. Otherwise ok. This should have been caught at the factory.

Competitiveness

The machine is faster than my amd ryzen 5 atx machine and it uses 1/4 the power of my old machine.

Much faster compared to the earlier 4 core intel powered u59 model.

I know there are other mini pc brands available, but i see no reason to look beyond beelink unless something changes.

With the option to run this in performance mode and similar performance it isn't worth paying more for an 8945hs based option.

    The builtin psu is specced 85w vs 120w for the lower tdp so while you can tweak out a few more watts you will only reach 54w with problems

    I would have offered a size psu option at an appropriate price differential and let the user tweak settings if he wanted to go back to full speed at the expense of noise levels
