I swapped out the stock nvme drive with a samsung 250 gb one, transferring the os via acronis.
Update: when i bought this the price was $196.
The cost difference has to be insignificant.

Will plan to upgrade every couple of years with something like this and keep reusing peripherals.

Competitiveness
Great little box and handles my zoneminder server well.
2 sata ssd rather than the emmc storage that many other brands use.
Performance is very good for a basic desktop solution - 8gb memory and a 256gb ssd was provided on this model.

Getting almost my entire speed of 940 download i get between 880920 and that is with web filter virus blocker threat prevention and ad blocker enabled
