    This unit would also work for you if yo have lps you want to listen to but dont have a phono input on your stereo

    Even with the thousands of titles available on cd and download there still are many records not converted

    The unit does what it says and converts the unamplified turntable to allow a line in receiver to properly read the phono signal

    In troubleshooting the problem i discovered that the hum disappeared after disconnecting both the turntable and unit from ground
