I am very pleased with the quality of these speakers.
Weighs more than powered versions and doesnt have a protective case
I've gigged them, dropped them, sudden power failure hit the pa and had a voltage spike hit them.
Price
If you can't afford to get a mixer straight away then thats fine but you must download virtial dj available on mac and pc.
I do not say this lightly when i say save your money!
I would of reordered another speaker, but i noticed the price having increased by £40.
If you're on a budget get the active version, i have both the active and passive.
Packaging/appearance
It was a b stock item but was new and in original packaging
Competitiveness
I would highly recommend this speaker, just as good if not better than more expensive ones available on the market.

I wanted something that would sound loud but produce rich sound and bass the kind you feel in your chest

The reason being is the sound is sht its very tinney and the speakers will struggle to pull the power through

Never the less i recently was able to afford a behringer mixer that i picked up for £115 from amazon all i can say is the speakers are eating my flat apart i only need them on 8db on the amp which is the lowest volume and they both storm through bass is amazing i just wish i knew what i was doing at the time of first buying them i could of had a better sound quicker if i knew what i was getting

Overall very powerful speakers what i would also suggest if you are a beginner dj we all have to start somewhere is to get some ear protection alpine hearing protection as the speakers are very powerful they could cause permeant hearing problems through time especially if you use them in your bedroom or flat like i do
