Pros

The motorized fader works smooth and the scribble strip lets you know what’s going on. I like grabbing the large knob with my hand rather than the small knob on the faderport. Nice jog wheel & rubber *, signal meter next to fader.

It has a usb hub and i plug my interface and midi controller to it. This makes it easy to pull my macbook whenever i need it elsewhere.

It works great at what the daw developer has incorporated it into their daw. It makes working in nuendo much more fun and intuitive. This controller does more inside logic than in luna, for now.

In mackie control mode the following * are re-programmable by “nudge”, “drop” and “replace”. The most important button function is *play from the original cursor starting position*. It walks you though how to update it- button click by button click.

Cons

These is not ethernet port. It mostly just duplicates everything that my number pad already did. Behringer support is not great! Having to enter you own ticket opposed to having someone on the phone to walk you through an issue is unacceptable.

Price

For a small home recording studio, for someone just tinkering with a daw, i think this is useful and worth the price.

However, if they had added another $100 to the price, i might even be considering an item like this at all.

I get it, the cost would go up- fine.

Packaging/appearance

I have been using this for coming up on a year on an almost daily basis after i chucked the faderport.

The x-touch knob is in the upper left corner intelligently out of the way.

Anyway, this really has earned a 5-star review from me and i highly recommend giving this affordable unit a shot.
