Pros

The cons are not enough to concern me and certainly do not prevent me from enthusiastically recommending this product to anyone looking to spend only a few hundred dollars on a mixer. It fit like a glove in my skb roto-shock case. I hook up a small mi...  Read More

It has many gigs under its belt and works like a charm. It might not be a satisfactory choice for a rock band or home studio but for a small meeting room, theater or church, it works great. If your music situation consists of only a keyboard and/or ac...  Read More

First and foremost, this unit works perfectly, functions as designed, and was packaged well. Power switch is on the back. It is used mostly for control room monitoring/playback and to feed a push-to-talk system to my voice-booth.

Quality

- build quality is quite good considering the price.

Always nervous about behringer quality, but it's worked perfectly so far.

Behringer uses the word awesome to describe the quality but it's hardly that.

The rack mounted low profile mixer can totally hang with the best of them.

Price

Reasonably priced, and frankly, impressive (cost / benefit.

A good mixer for a good price.

Packaging/appearance

If you need to pull a channel out of the main mix and the monitor mix, you need to pull the fader totally off and turndown the monitor pot.

Competitiveness

I own several behringer products that i have had a good experience with for many years.

- comprehensive 24-bit built in fx processor with many presets.

I've heard many people disparage behringer gear as cheap, noisy and flimsily built crap, as well as being a rip-off of mackie products.

This also makes the power and 48v phantom power switches hard to reach.

Basically the customer needed an announcing pa and wanted a live music for lunchtime

Again while it functions perfectly the drawback was that the channels do not have mute buttons

A mute button would have made this much better

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

While this is not a deal breaker for me it would be most convenient if mute buttons would be incorporated

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I only wish that the on and off button was in front of the mixer and not on the back so it is hard to reach

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Durability is still to be determined
