Tone Quality
Customers have generally positive opinions about the tone quality of the BEHRINGER HEAVY METAL HM300 pedal. Many users praise its ability to produce the classic Swedish chainsaw tone, while others appreciate its versatility for various heavy music genres. Some mention that it rivals more expensive pedals in terms of sound quality and is a great option for beginners or those on a budget. However, a few users note that the pedal lacks nuance and that all knobs should be cranked for optimal results.
Value For Money
Customers generally find the BEHRINGER HEAVY METAL HM300 to be a good value for money option. While some are thrilled with its affordability, others acknowledge that it is not as high quality as more expensive alternatives but still worth considering due to its low price point.
Highlights
Quality
The heavy distortion pedal from behringer specially matches up with a ds-1 and just out does the ds-1 in every way but build quality.
After a year of having iti gotta say this pedal is my fave from my pedal boardreally gives out that great chainsaw swedish tone.
I found that to be a poor design choice given the fragility of the item.
The battery is underneath the pedal part, and you have to press in on both sides like some digitech pedals.
Price
For the price, it has an excellent sound.
Best bang for your money sounds as good as a boss
This thing is beastly for ~ 20 bucks!
It is worth the few dollars and figure out if you like it and want to spring the money for the real thing.
Shipping
In some cases they don't ship it out for days.
I received it by a huge surprise about 2 days after i ordered it, to my house in 2 days.
I’m most impressed with the shipping though.
Competitiveness
I have a demo comparing the hm300 to the hd300 on youtube and it’s clear that each pedal sounds good and has their own voicing.
Just awesome sounds that rival boss and ibanez pedals for a fraction of the price.
I thought there was a chance boss would do a waza, but they choose to do the metal zone (at least for now) so my money goes to behringer.
