You will need a windows pc or laptop wih a usb port but the software is free and works even without the amps plugged in

Only issue is monster turn on thump even with no signal present

If you have the bass eq up and any extra gain on the xover like for using a phone as a music player with weak output voltage and no preamp you had better disconnect the subs neutrik connecter from the sub before turning it on

The thump is so huge it knocked my wiring loose on the back of the sub and nearly damaged a 700 dollar spl competition driver

Fan is too loud for low level listening in a home theater

Fan is a bit loud in a dead silent room but you wont hear it during music or movies
