Pros

The monitor2usb is great. Works like a charm. Works without compromising my workflow. The class compliant interface works with my setup.

The main big knob is not bad at all considering it's a heavier resin plastic. The mono button is very revealing.

Cons

This is not a good choice for any critical listening applications. It does not feature a built-in web browser. It also does not have a built in web application browser.

Quality

Solid build quality with versatile audio options.

The dim feature is really nice for hot swaps along with input selection and excellent audio specs.

Not sure if this is a defective unit, or just poor quality build.

There is a lot of power, dynamic range, and headroom built in to this thing.

Price

Worth much more than it costs imo.

I would knock off one star for that but the great price keeps this device at 5 stars in my eyes.

I paid $90 for a refurb unit on ebay, but i still want to leave a review.

Seriously, for $150 or less i haven't ever heard a more pleasing/dynamic dac.

Competitiveness

Unless you need more ins and outs, i can't imagine any of the more expensive monitor controllers being able to compare to this one.

I started off with the mackie big knob because it was cheap and technically met all of my needs 2 in 2 out

I decided to try this behringer unit after giving up trying to solve ground loop and wireless interference noises that were only present when the big knob was in line

Nothing about the hardware feels cheap in any way

I can tell no difference at all between going direct from interface to monitors vs having this in between

Both inputs can be active at the same time which can be a convenient feature depending on your setup

Unless you need more ins and outs i cant imagine any of the more expensive monitor controllers being able to compare to this one

This isnt just nice for the price it really is a nice piece of gear

Mainly for output c because it is a mono output so majority of users will use this output for their subwoofer and it would be great to control the sub volume independently instead of having to reach over to the sub to adjust volume and removing yourself from the 34sweetspot34 of your studio monitors
