Highlights
Quality
Very good preamp, the sound quality is amazing and has made a huge improvement to my home recordings.
The unit is sturdy and of good quality, i like the chicken head knobs, they have a good feel and can be adjusted finely.
After 2 plus years the switches are still quiet without static while turning.
The gain was so hot that it only seem to only be practical as an overdriving preamp.
Price
What i asked for i got the mic200 great preamp for the money .
Worth it for the money, and a better tube gets a few really nice sounds from certain settings.
I have a total of $365 into my amp/preamp now, and i get the sound of the $1000 tube combos i have drooled on in guitar shops.
I have an inexpensive mixing board that's about 13 years old, and its on-board preamp is giving up the ghost.
Shipping
Eventually i will try it with a keyboard and drum machine but haven't gotten that far wet since it just arrived today.
Packaging/appearance
The box was tough to get into!
Came with 110v adapter but is fine

The jj 5751 has a lower gain rating and is much less noisy than the tube that it came with the unit.
If you add a b52 412 cab its even better, i mean that too, you can gettem both cheap.
