Versatility
Customers are highly satisfied and praise the versatility of the DI-Box, as it allows them to go direct to a mixer or back to an amp, and some use it for recording rock guitar. A few customers suggest that a continuously variable knob would make it perfect.
Price
Customers are thrilled with the product's affordability. They believe it offers great value for its low price point and competes well against more expensive options. Some users specifically mention that it is a bargain. However, some customers have noted the absence of an on-off switch, requiring them to disconnect cables after each use or power it with phantom power from their mixer.
Speaker Emulation
Customers are generally positive about the speaker emulation feature of the Behringer Ultra-G GI100 DI-Box, with some users reporting it sounds far superior to digital cabinet simulations and helps eliminate variables in recording setups. However, a few users noted that the emulator can be harsh in the upper mids if the treble is dialed in too high.
Sound Quality
Customers have generally positive opinions about the sound quality of the Behringer Ultra-G GI100 DI-Box. Some users find that the sound is bright and clean when the simulation is disengaged, while others appreciate its ability to provide a respectable direct sound with the signal conditioning engaged. The unit adds no discernible noise to the signal and is considered a great value for the price. However, some users mention that the sound can be a little dark and may require adjustments using EQ.
