For a musician just wanting to add a little something extra to their tone i highly recommend it. I use the vd400 for a single slap-back to fatten up my tone which it does quite nicely.
Cons
The pedal is very plasticky and the 9 volt battery obviously only lasts a couple hours. At low intensity settings it is nearly inaudible. It makes residual noises when i turn the knobs to touch the foot pedal to engage/disengage the effect.
Generally shoddy product. Products are cheaply made and don't work. Only reason i'm giving this a sub par review is because the unit i have broke.

For the price you cannot beat this petal!
It is a great value, and makes me look great in front of the ladies.

Yes it is made of plastic so it may not be the tool for that hard core touring or barhopping musician

The sound quality is overall pretty good however if you are using a humbucker equipped guitar it tends to distort the delay sounds very easily
