The way a manage expand my busses is via folders inside reaper. It handle mackie and * protocols. Works great with pt 12 as well as ableton live 10.

Full featured and comfortably portable. Easy to setup and operate.

Cons

The x-touch is not programmable. It works as a wing for the headless mixers, but it needs some serious firmware work to make it joyful to use.

I'm delighted with the simplicity while i was disappointed with the documentation.

In logic you can even use it with the plugins, watch videos to understand this.

Cons:some of the quality is questionable for something that costs near 500 dollars.

I would love to see better quality faders.

Packaging/appearance

It gives me near complete control over everything in the xr18.

It's perfect for logic pro right out of the box.

I’m not gonna give it a bad review, but just be forthcoming in the future, it was missing some of the packaging also.

I had trouble with this out of the box, it wouldn’t connect to my x32 rack.

Competitiveness

If you use an xr18 mixer, i would totally recommend the xtouch as a physical interface.

Have not used some bottons yet, but it works great.

I couldn't imagine going back to using the miserable ios version of the xr18 software.

I got this mainly to control the behringer xr-18.
