Pros

Xenyx1002 fx is a great little mixer for around $80. Sound is solid and the effects are amazing. It sounds good without an amp for home use and dj party in your home. Khz, and 12 khz.

To think of this technology being available vs what was available 20 years ago is mind boggling. The only thing i don't like is the beaming blue led light. Only downfall is that it has no on and off switch.

Excellent for my application, as advertised. It is not overly complex. Appreciate the simple interface.

This is a terrible microphone mixer. It makes a constant hiss and static sound. It is not a mixer, it is a microphone interface. Please refund this mixer.

Still, for the money, this is a great little mixer and i would highly recommend it.

The 1002fx is an incredible little mixer for around $80.

I remember paying $1300 for a "state of the art" digital reverb for my keyboard setup.

I used to plug everything into a patchbay, but this inexpensive mixer lets me run four stereo sources at the same time.

Packaging/appearance

I was also surprised at the quality of the packaging and documentation.

A glossy full colored box with a plastic handle for carrying.

I've never seen an inexpensive mixer so packed with features.

Competitiveness

I think it compares very favorably to the more costly compacts from mackie and yamaha, and i have used all 3 brands.

This mixer is not intended to compete with units twice or three times its price.

You are a cheap but sound to match your needs,then think no more,xenyx1002 fx is what you have in yourhome studio.
