This is probably overkill for what i want to do, but i'm very pleased with the results so far. Happy mixing. The indicator led's are rather bright in some situations.
It mates to the mac pro workstation perfectly.
Behringer is a really good german brand for sound engineering. It handls all this very nicely with very quite, robust professional sound.
Cons
Terrible quality, garbage out of the box. Not to mention a disruption of my project. This bord only provides 2.
Port 3 was fried out of the box and never worked. If i turn every channel all the way down and record what should be nothing going into the pc via usb you end up with a hiss that is so loud. Company is not in your best interest, only its profit margin... Read More

The quality seems good, its well made, sturdy.
It has done everything i need,and i can feel the quality of the mixer.
It does work and the quality seems very good.
I guess i should have gone with the usb1832.
Price
The mixer definitely is worth the price.
It has a lot of great features and is a great price.

Competitiveness
I decided to replace my previous berhinger xenyx mixer 802, for this 1622usb.
In a few weeks i buy aother mixer (this one behringer xenyx x1622usb] here on amazon for another pc that i can get soon.

This console is great for recording and monitoring of digital audio you need enough ram and a good processor to bring the latency to zero if you do not have a good memory youll have noise

I cannot comment on the fx dont use them in a mixer or the usb audio have separate module
