I own a few of these power supplies and bought them specifically to wire up a few groupings of multiple christmas led strips in the house that use batteries so i could power them instead from power supplies and remote controlled receptacle switches so batteries dont need to constantly be replaced or the need to switch them all off and on everyday by hand

Using 3 volt settingfor 2 aa battery in series and it measured a smidge high but hasnt caused an issue with any of the sets

Used this to power some led lights the 12v plug would get hot while operating them when i used the same system on a regulated 12v outlet it was not warm

Was not too sure how well this variable power supply would work but took a chance as the original power supply replacement was about the same price and hoped this would actually work for several of my devices
