Pros & Cons
Pros
The surge protection is a must for plugging in any expensive equipment. The angled plug is pretty cool, and it has plenty of cord. It's the 6th that i buy. Hopefully i eventually receive a new one that gives me confidence to connect my expensive elect... Read More
The cord to plug it in is a nice length and it has 8 spots to plug electronics in. There is a little internal (and integral) plastic slide that can cover each receptacle when not in use. The spacing on this model, 4 outlets closer to the power cord ar... Read More
Belkin power strip is well made and it has a nice slim profile. It has a 2,500j, which indicates how much energy it can absorb before it fails.
Cons
Everytime i plug this in, it resets the breaker. Scratches on the side of the bar and near outlets. Dents, dirt and dust on the power cord. The powerbar has a great layout of outlets, however it is not as described on page.

Shipping
It only took puraltor took a mear 3 weeks to deliver it too
Rec'd in decent time / as expected.
It came in and worked for 2 seconds but when i told customer service they immediately sent a new one and let me toss this one out.
Packaging/appearance
Interior packaging was a bit suspect / poorly packaged - i looked closer at the surface of the bar and it did appear 'used' in some areas.
Was surprised to see the condition of the box when it arrived.
Competitiveness
Based on the belkin website, i thought i was getting a unit with 3996 joules and a vpr of 330 volts (same vpr as my old belkin unit).
I bought more than one big clunky high blood high current devices into it.
The price is a lot better here than in a store, for belkin product.
I love belkin products so i don't know why i combed through hundreds of 'import brand names' before i bought this one.
