Pros & Cons
Pros
Cable is fairly flexible. Nice and flexible cable, in an easy to dispense box. Great wire for the money.
The cable works. Good product. Internet works great. Anything belkin is top flight.
Great cable, affordable amount. Shipped promptly enough for a time critical project.
The cat 5e works with gigabit ethernet under 100m. Hard to find stranded cat 5e cable without having to buy a thousand foot spool.
Used this to make several 1gbps runs in my house as well as many 15' patch cables. Reliable giga-net performance. Excellent for making patch cables and log runs.
Cons
The cord is useless. It's completely useless, unless i buy the connectors separately, and attach them myself. Otherwise, it'scompletely useless.
Highlights
Quality
Excellent for making patch cables and log runs.
It's much easier to work with than solid cat6 and it works great at 1gb/s.
This is stranded cable so make sure you get the corresponding rj-45 connectors made for stranded and not solid wire.
Id say home and smaller diy projects suit this fine but a soho or larger should have a higher quality wire.
Price
A good step between buying overpriced pre-made cables and the cost-saving monster 1000ft bulk rolls!
It is extremely useful for those who have no need for and/or cannot afford a 500 foot box or 1000 foot roll of bulk cable.
Paid $32/250ft which is a good deal.
Cost me about 15 feet of cable because of where the kink was.
Shipping
Shipped promptly enough for a time critical project.
Came quickly, first end has a cat5 connector on it which was a surprise.
I tested the 250' that i received and got 118mbps (mega bits per second) from my isp (internet service provider) modem.
Ordered this after i couldn't find anything in town, and needed it quickly.
Packaging/appearance
Really please with the packaging and the ease of feeding the coiled pack and tangle free.
I purchased the 250-foot roll because i did not need 1000 feet, and it came in a reelex box that made it easy to run cable.
And yes the cable comes out of the box a touch hard - but all in all it's standard packaging.
Packaging was light and had a good sized hole to pull cable out of.
Competitiveness
The cat 5e works with gigabit ethernet under 100m so this is a low-cost alternative to cat6 cable.
It wasn't too difficult to get to line into rj45 jacks but it wasn't the easiest.
