Pros
The dock has a captive thunderbolt cable built in. Works fine with thunderbolt 4. This is intended for a single monitor hookup.
The size of the hub is fine for stowing away in a bag. Great for use in our camper van. X usb-a ports so peripherals can be powered, too.
Cons
Overall, i am disappointed it did not work.

I love the quality and light feel of this usb hub.
I hooked it up to my pc, and then to my old hp laptop with the addition of a usb-c to usb adapter.
It is very lightweight which makes it feel kind of cheap, especially with the black plastic.
But if you want a brand name you've heard of before, and a quality product, you won't go wrong with this adapter.
Price
99 (at the time of my writing this review) i feel that the price is way too high.

It does seem to be rather expensive for what it is but as i typically dont purchase many electronic accessories im not a good judge on what the market value typically is

Thats good in some ways because it means you cant lose it for travel and it also ensures you wont run into compatibility problems with low quality cables interfering with the docks functionality

But it also means you dont get a lot of distance between the dock and the computer so your other cables will create a bit of a rats nest on your desk if this is being used at a fixed workstation

Note that the power pass through accepts 100w but steals some for the dock so your computer will only receive 87w

This might not be enough for high powered 1534 laptops so if yours requires a 100w power adapter this might not be the best fit for you

Because the number of ports are very minimal i would think critically about if this will be enough for you

Many other docks offer way more in terms of ports and sometimes even more monitor ports
