Belkin has a great reputation for durability and quality. The aesthetic is nice too, none of that odd off-white color that plagued my parent's house. The unit is lightweight and easy to position in tight areas.

For a belkin product, this is really cheaply made. The face plate is black, but the back and the cord are both gray. Exchanged it for another.

The power on/off switch is flimsy-the audible sound of electricity cracking-poor design. It only has 2 metal prongs and will only work on a single line. Item was supposed to have a flat plug. It has a standard plug instead.
