Included mounting holes and a molded protrusion on the back to prevent movement over carpet this appears to be a welldesigned basic device

Perhaps the lone offset outlet would not be enough for this unit to provide the sole protection for most home offices but at this price it would make an excellent secondary protector

I saw a sparks before the power went off the other night and smelled the burning smell

Went to see what sparked and saw it was the telephone cord going from the phone jack from the wall into the surge protector

Plugged in the phone cord from the phone into the wall jack and there was still dial tone so the surge protector saved it
