Not a fancy looking product but works so well and has been 100% reliable. Belkin is the best on the market. The brand is reputable, reducing my concerns of fire/other issues.
Cons
The 8 plug/12 ft cord model is now dead. There was no information/pamphlet included in the box of the belkin surge protector. The green light comes on but nothing i plug into any slot receives power.
This surge protector is cheap! The clamping voltage is 500v. If your electronics recieve 500v before protection kicks in then they'll be fried.

You never know when a lightning bolt will strike the line and destroy your electronics.
Like many of these types of "multiplug" extension/surge cords, it is nearly impossible to use all receptacles on the cord.
Price
High jules rating, like the cord catcher on the end, and priced fairly.
Don’t try to save $20 on no name unit.
If you do get a surge; then your $1,000 computer or oled tv may not survive a voltage surge event.

For that equipment and computers i purchased a top of the line tripplite and will always pull the plug off the wall if there is heavy lighting as most lighting issues filter in through the ac line
