Belkin products are almost always manufactured to a high standard and well designed. We recommend replacing a surge protector after 3 years of use. It is a deceptively simple design that really grows on you.
Cons
The package was already opened. I contacted belkin, their support is terribad. Now the price is 53. Waste a money.

For laptops youll better off with a separate power supply but thats fine as the higher power chargers tend to be quite expensive

The 8 sockets are in two banks of four so if you have a plug or adapter that has a bulge out of the top it will block the opposite plug so you cant use it

Typically these power strips are used where there are a number of electrical items within a metre or two that require simultaneous power and because of the surge protection protection from spikes in the power supply
