Your airtag will not escape and as long as you don’t whack the carrier with a hammer it should last as long as the air tag.

The plastic rings are secured by turning them until they lock plus once the ring is put on it will further lock the holder

Contrast that to the airtag holder i bought for my mother from another manufacturer made from a softer more flexible materialthe airtag kept slipping out and she lost one which seems ironic for an airtag
