As expected, this device is a breeze to setup. The grandkids are happy and i am happy. This eliminates that. All three of these complaints are, to me, insanely minor.

The switcher automatically switches to higher priority ports when the higher priority device is powered on. The switch auto engages the device of higher priority that has power. It has a button that allows you to select a device manually.

Wireless remote with an infrared reader plugs into a jack in the device. Comes with a wireless remote and ir sensor that you can place in a convenient location.

Belkin switcher does not come with an ac adapter, even though one is required to operate the remote. I believe the belkin unit was drawing more power than my cable box was able to handle causing it to overheat.
