I had a belkin power bar previously to owning this one i searched for this brand specifically because the other one i had lasted possibly over 20 years it still works but i just needed one that had more outlets

I stuck it underneath my desk using alien tape i was worried maybe it wouldnt hold in place but now i have another worry which is that i dont know if ill ever be able to get it off the desk lol

Either way im fine with it being there permanently as its very useful to have all my electronics at arms reach and not gathering dust and cat hair on the floor

Such devices are more vulnerable to power surges as they have more complex sensitive components and circuitry
