    I understand why they did this as they wanted to make sure you use a cable that can support the right amount of power as usbc cables can vary greatly in what they can provide

    My phone iphone 12 wont stick to the magnetic aspect of it though unless i remove it from the case which i dont particularly want to keep doing

    You can however position the phone charging plate facing upwardsflat and sit the phone on top of it to charge if you dont want to be removing the case every time you want to charge it
