Pros & Cons
Pros
Belkin is a good brand, but not an s-tier brand in my opinion. Setting up the belkin connect dock is a breeze. The product is slightly pricey, but despite this drawback, its quality remains excellent.
The belkin gan dock has 130 watts of total power and can deliver about 96 watts to a laptop. The power cord is a pretty generous 6 feet long, though the usb-c cable is only about a foot long so positioning the dock relative to the pc isn't completely ... Read More
Cons
Belkin's docking station has only four usb ports (two a and two c) one hdmi and one ethernet. The ports are oddly placed, making it difficult to connect multiple devices simultaneously. The charging speeds are slower than advertised, leaving me waitin... Read More
Highlights
Quality
It's high quality, and heavy enough that it stays put on my work surface.
It works as advertised, i had no issues with any of the ports or charging.
There's docks much larger than this, that don't even have a built in power supply!
They managed to cram a gan power supply inside the dock itself while also including the usual array of ports found on a portable dock.
Price
At $140, i consider this a solid value.
Beyond the price itself, i have no issues with the station.
I also feel like its a bit expensive for what it is, and think it would be more worth it if you could get it for around $100.
The only drawback is that the price is up there.
Shipping
The 96w power delivery to peripherals keeps everything powered up without a hitch.
Plenty of power delivery and ports for peripherals.
Packaging/appearance
The video shows the product being unpacked.
The video shows the product being unpacked.
So by absolute volume it's smaller, but it doesn't conform to the norms of packability in the way other devices do.
But it's easy to pack as there is one brick, one power cord, and one usb-c cable.
Competitiveness
There are other docs that are a little more robust, however they are usually about two times the price.
The belkin goes one better by adding a power supply.

It uses gan technology which is supposed to run cooler and be lighter than traditional chargers but the unit is quite heavy and probably weighs a little more than my laptop charger and a separate dock

But its easy to pack as there is one brick one power cord and one usbc cable

Overall this is smaller by volume than carrying my power brick and a separate dock

Once youve wrapped up the cables on this versus the charger and dock combination its maybe 60 of the space but it doesnt fit in any of the pockets inside my laptop bags accessory compartment because of its thickness
