I hate having to carry around a bunch of different cables that could easily be misplaced. I now have a clean “junk drawer” that was chock full of misc cables.
Cons
Did not work with vga or hdmi tried on multiple monitors. Maybe i got a dud, maybe i misunderstood what this actually does, idk.

Quality
Quality is as expected with each input.
Picture quality is quite good, and the device seems sturdy.
The picture quality is not degraded when using this cable but it does not support multiple device plugged in.
It does have a usb cable with the hdmi port so if you have a monitor that has a usb port this will work for it.
Price
The price is a little on the high side, especially if you only need to convert one or two types.

Recent transitions to giant tvs have alleviated some of the projector specific quirks and the need to stand on tables to turn them offon but the advent of displayport mini displayport hdmi etc

Some places leave dongles behind often tied to the cable to keep the dongles in the meeting room but that tends to leave vga in the lurch its more complicated that switching digital formats like displayport and hdmi

It wont directly help with full sized displayport but thats hot hard to address with a simple dongle and vga hdmi and mini display port are much more common and usb c is getting there
