Build quality is surprisingly good for a belkin product. Each hinge stays where you put it. Rubber lining so it doesn't damage your phone or desktop.

This product has an important design issue that disallow to have a solid stand for tripod mode.

~ the hinges are smooth but sturdy, i've been using it a few days and i had no issues with the mount collapsing on itself.

This mount does hit perfectly flat and is very stable thanx to both the previously mentioned hinges and the rubberized skin of the stand.

This is a well made product but the clip does not stay attached to the top of the monitor.
