Pros
Great value for the money. Far better than my old dual-band adapter. Shows up directly in networks as wifi 2 and operates almost like the built-in wifi on my laptop.
Cons
They all die in under or around two years, planned obsolescence to take more of our money. Ridiculous policy. Piece of doo-doo.
The internal network speeds for the dual bands adapters are horrible and their speeds would fluctuate from 300 mbps to 270-180-15-6 mbps. The adapter is really big and gets in the way all the time. The computer is only about 20-25 ft from the router.
Frustrated with my snails pace and intermittent experience in cyberspace. Constantly drops signal. It seems to drop connections constantly.
Used to work fine for a while. Stopped working after 2 days of use. Preparing to return it today. Returned to amazon. Received refund without issue.

0 usb adapter cable so that i don't have a repeat of last time, and all in all i am extremely satisfied with this product.
This adapter works exactly as advertised and is better than factory installed adapters.
Even though my laptop is n capable it is not compatible with the 5 ghz frequency that my router uses.
Thus far i have not had that problem with the belkin adapter.
Price
4ghz and i needed to be able to take advantage of the higher 5ghz my internet provider offers.

Manual driver setup is required and you will need a second computer with a working internet connection for installation on a computer without a disk drive or on a linux system

Before i knew it im looking at 1500 laptops and they were great for what they offered but all i needed was to upgrade my wireless adapter so i dropped the new computer idea and started looking at reviews for a usb wireless adapter

My laptop is probably 5 years old and even though it works great the wireless is not great and i was contemplating buying a new laptop
