Audio cable is braided for durability and slim for easy storage. It's like a protective sheathing wrapped around a standard cable. The braided sheath not only feels like high quality it also prevents the frustrating tangling common with most cables.

However sometimes it's nice to have a posh audio cable and i have bought quite a few made by frieq such as their frieq 3.
Unlike our frieq cables the pins aren't gold plated, just silver, but i doubt that has any effect on sound quality or reliability.

Aux cables are generally seen as a bit disposable give it a few months and they wear out on the cable part or the connections give up the ghost
