This was very easy to install due to the durability of the protector and the template provided.

If you have pets that run across your keyboard, it'll prevent any further scratches to your screen as well.

Lastly, your camera is unaffected because the screen protector does not cover the camera lens.

Regarding clarity, i think the retina display sharpness is reduced a tiny bit, but it doesn't affect graphics and web work.

Competitiveness

It keeps your display clean and since i've had it i've probably only cleaned the screen once in comparison to daily prior to this.

Overall, i'm glad i bought it and although it's not the cheapest, it's a good product.
