Great sound even when technology moves forward and adds more gadgets and gimmicks. Given my good, but vintage system a new lease of life. Probably better than cd "sound" actually.
Cons
Audio quality is abysmally poor. Can't connect to iphone or ipad via bluetooth. Would not recommend.

The sound quality had a bit of a different compared to just playing it via cd's but the quality sounded really good and at a good standard.
Very happy with the purchase, would recommend.
The sound quality is not the best either, the volume is really low so you have to have everything cranked right up!
This is a small and lightweight product.
Price
Would not purchase again and especially for the amount it cost!
The price is a tad steep in my opinion but it’s much cheaper than replacing your entire setup.

I have this hooked up to my soundbar using the optical connection and it works fairly well.

It is an absolute nightmare to set up despite the instructions saying its easy and yes it should be really straight forward
