Purchased this since i recently dug out some old smart media cards which are no longer made and any new reader does not accept them

The problem with most card readers is the bay for the cf card to slide into is very shallow and if youre careless you can bend the connector pins not with this one

This card reader has a rather deep bay for the cards so the chances of the card incorrectly being inserted and bending the pins is obliterated

My lacie media reader still works but the cover came off and will not stay on the device
