First off the design is simple effective and practical having this as a slice that raises the laptop is a great idea though it would be even better of the device itself didnt get as warm as it does it kind of removes the advantage of adding an air gap under the laptop

But so many usbhubs with ethernet will trust me they really will just fail to initialise when the laptop wakes up

Belkin otoh make the official apple adapter and they really will wake up when the computer does especially on mac and that matters a lot to me

Hdmi is as described on the product page i am told it doesnt support dual monitors on mac with extended desktop using hdmi and displayport but i cant comment because i havent tried

It doesnt show up as an audio output source on mac volume control doesnt just work by taking internal audio if you plug in headphones
