I found the cable itself to be well made, and it's worth noting the cable is thinner than say the hdmi standard.
One of the standout features of this cable is its durability.
Price
Even so, i feel £40 for this cable is a little too much.
Price point is reasonable for a high spec and still relatively specialised product.

Some of the 'random brand' cables might not necessarily be as well specified as they claim.
Saying that, belkin is a trusted brand.
